A heartwarming mail from one of our guests…
Planned a holiday trip with my family to Ajmer during the long weekend was browsing through hotels and inns when I came across Hotel Chitvan, on TripAdvisor. The reviews and ratings on the website looked great. One particular review of 3rd May 2016 from Aditya, which said “A very nice stay. The staff is very friendly, the owner is also very comforting and helpful… All in all a very very nice stay… I did not stay for very long but would definitely like to visit again in the winter a leisure stay… Keep it up…Stayed April 2016, traveled with friends”, convinced me to book the hotel for the weekend.
On reaching the venue we realized that the 3-star hotel was much more than that. Greeted by a humble and courteous staff at the gate at a huge property, we checked in and were escorted to our rooms.
I have stayed in my fair share of hotels across the nation and I must say, this place was easily among the top 5. The rooms were very spacious & lavish and also very well maintained. Neat well made beds and a sparkling clean washroom. What more could you wish from a place that was not your home?
Outside our room was the pool, which was about to be raided by my two squealing kids. They had the time of their life, and we enjoyed a very peaceful quiet evening with an amazing view.
The service was excellent, though few of our calls to the front desk did get unanswered, that pales in comparison to the prompt and quick service the staff provided.
This quality of service to our food also, the mouthwatering dishes and excellent preparation was like icing on the cake. Freshly prepared and promptly served, among everything else, the food was our highlight of the trip.
This is one weekend I shall remember for a long time, and I hope that I get to visit this place once again with my family, it truly was a home away from our home.

“Pioneering Place to Stay!” – 4 stars
Very nice property to stay if visiting Ajmer. Nicely maintain. Can improvise on food. Very well priced for its services and luxury. Prompt Services. Excellent Ambiance and well-maintained Swimming Pool.
I booked 2 rooms in Hotel Chitvan after canceling Country Inn and Suites. I got the mixed kind of online reviews but had a reference for its good food from a known local guy.
1. While going from Jaipur to Ajmer, it is on the highway just before Ajmer city. Big and open campus and hence, quite green and airy.
2. The rooms are quite big and pretty nice looking ones. some rooms have great bathrooms with specially built bathtubs and an amazing view of ventilation.
3. Food is awesome – we called up chef and specially asked for the recipe for Papad Ki Sabzi (typical Rajasthani dish).
4. The staff is quite nice and polite.
1. The towel quality in rooms was quite bad (Torn and looked quite old). It can be improved.
2. A couple of times, it happened that nobody picked the phone at the front desk. I think, their front desk is not handled at all times.
The rest everything was great. I will definitely recommend this to Ajmer city.

Excellent Services, Gentle and Prompt Staff. The location is also perfect. The best part of the resort is spacious rooms and clean. Price is very reasonable and value for money.
The resort has two big gardens for children to play.

A good place to stay

The rooms are really spacious. The major plus points about the property are that it is situated on the Jaipur Ajmer highway and is easy to locate. Additionally, it is very near to the main Ajmer city. A good option for the people who prefer a calm and quiet place over a noisy market. Negative points are that the property requires a little bit of maintenance work and the hotel provides limited options in their buffet breakfast menu but the food was good

Well managed hotel with delicious food

I had a chance to stay in this hotel in 2nd week of August 2016 when I went to watch an endemic and rare bird called Lesser Florican located about 50 km away from this Hotel Chitvan along the National Highway NH 8 on a service lane. I found it spread in big areas having lush lawns and a swimming pool a good option for those who wish to relax and unwind. The staff at the reception was very supportive and welcoming and it took us no time to complete the formality of check-in. Our breakfast was included in the price quoted to us but we were supposed to leave at 5 am so they supplied us packed breakfast which could be kept till next morning to support our need in absence of good places around our bird watching site to eat. Those who have their own vehicle should avoid staying in Ajmer city which is very crowded and very noisy so this makes a better option. This is not a good place to stay for people who wish to stay next to the bus station or railway station at a cheaper tariff just managing to spend time with basics since it is located on Parbatpura bypass but Google map shows you the right location. Linen, towel and room was very clean and the toiletries were placed at the right location. In all my stay was pleasant and I rate and recommend it as a very good option to stay.
